public class PersistenceOutcomeUnknownException
extends Exception

Thrown by a persistence backend when records were handed to the persistence but its outcome is unknown, e.g. the request reached the remote service and no response arrived before the read timeout. The records may have been persisted: they are neither sent again nor written to the fallback file, since a second copy would be counted twice. They are logged as lost.
